DESCRIPTION:Does your furry best friend deserve the best? Elevate their dining experience and bring a piece of Harrisonburg’s story into your home. Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll craft a beautiful\, custom dog bowl stand using reclaimed wood sourced directly from our city’s trees. In partnership with the Harrisonburg Urban Wood Program\, you’ll give a local tree a second life as a functional piece of art\, made with love\, for your most loyal companion.\n\nEach Workshop Ticket Includes: Supplies to create a ~7-inch tall wooden dog bowl stand (including a slab of locally-sourced\, urban wood\, black hairpin legs\, and two stainless steel bowls) Instructions\, tools\, and guided expertise to complete your project Drink Voucher to use at Pale Fire Brewing Co. (good for one beer\, wine\, cider\, seasonal cocktail\, or NA drink)\n\nAfter choosing a slab of locally-sourced urban wood\, participants\, with the help of our staff\, will cut\, sand\, and assemble an elevated dog bowl stand perfect for your Hburg Hound. Head into the Pale Fire taproom to enjoy a beverage and a presentation on the City of Harrisonburg’s Urban Wood Program. Participants will learn the background of the locally sourced wood they’ll be giving a new life to and the importance of Virginia urban wood programs.\n\nNote: The base workshop ticket will give you 6-inch legs (best suited for small dogs\, i.e. Chihuahua\, Dachshund\, Pomeranian\, Shih Tzu\, Yorkshire Terrier). If you would like to upgrade your ticket to get taller legs (12-inch\, 16-inch\, or 24-inch)\, please select the desired option in the registration under the Donation screen.
