What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are posted on our website and vary slightly between our two locations. Hours are also displayed on our Google profiles (Harrisonburg, Basye) and should reflect holiday-related closings or adjusted hours.
Closings for private events will always be included on our events calendar and day-of on our social media stories (Instagram and Facebook).
Unplanned closings or adjusted hours for weather or other emergencies will be shared on our social media stories.

- a brief description of your musical style
- a sample of your music (such as a YouTube video or Spotify link)

All vendors are booked through our Contact form. Please send an email with the following information:

Where do I park?
When visiting our Harrisonburg location, there are a few spots in the circle at the front of our building, however, your best bet is to park across the street near Turner Pavillion or in the Water Street garage. Pay attention to signs and avoid “Permit Parking” as you will likely be ticketed. https://www.harrisonburgva.gov/parking
When visiting our Basye location, there is a gravel parking lot directly in front of our building. We share this with another restaurant, so parking can sometimes be tight!
What beer is on draft?
The selection varies between our two locations, with Harrisonburg having 13 options, some of which may be small or experimental batches. Basye has 8 draft options and additional choices in cans. Our current draft list for the Harrisonburg location is available on our website. Unfortunately, our Basye location does not yet have this menu feature. Visit our Basye taproom’s social media pages for a current tap list.
Do you sell kegs?
We do! Two sizes are available (half barrel and sixth barrel/sixtel) of a majority of our flagships and seasonals. We prefer that you call us in advance to reserve a keg so we can set aside what you need, especially when planning to pick it up in Basye so we can make sure your preferred keg is in stock.
Keg sizes:
-Half barrel (1/2) – 15.5 gallons, approx 120 pints, $159-199 plus tax
-Sixtel (1/6) – 5.15 gallons, approx 40 pints, $72-90 plus tax
Kegs require a $50 deposit which will be refunded when the keg is returned. Please bring an ID (must be 21+) and someone to help you move the keg to your vehicle. Need a party tap? They are available to rent for $15, plus a $25 refundable deposit.
Do you ship beer?
We do, but due to distribution restrictions, we are only able to ship within the state of Virginia. A small selection of 4-packs are listed in our online store. More options are always available by visiting our taprooms.
Where can I buy Pale Fire merchandise?
Merch is available for purchase in our taprooms during regular business hours. Selection may vary between locations, so stop by and see what’s currently in stock. A majority of our merch is also available through our online store.
Do you allow children in the taproom?
Children of all ages are welcome! We have a large library that includes a small selection of children’s books. Our menu includes items such as soda, chicken tenders, and tater tots. For safety reasons while you’re visiting the taproom, we ask that you keep eyes on your child(ren) at all times.
Are there options for dietary restrictions such as gluten free, vegan, etc.?
Yes! Menu items are marked to inform you of possible allergens (gluten, nuts, eggs) as well as whether an item is vegetarian or vegan. We have multiple vegetarian options for you to choose from and any small pizza can be made on a GF cauliflower crust. Our Detroit-style crust is vegan and we carry a vegan cheese to pair with it.

What is Singo?
Singo is an exciting musical spin on the traditional game of Bingo. Instead of listening for a number, players are listening to their favorite music. Each player receives a free Singo card printed with the titles of popular songs. (Digital cards are available on your phone if we run out of paper cards!) While Singo randomly plays song clips of “the good parts,” players can sing along and mark matching song titles on their cards. The first player to mark five songs in a row and to shout “Singo” wins the round! Our Singo host verifies the winner before moving on to double-bingo and blackout rounds.
We play two Singo games each Thursday, starting at 7pm and ending at 9pm. Weekly playlist names are announced in our social media stories. Pay attention to our social media for announcements about occasional 3 ROUND weeks!
What is Geeks Who Drink?
Geeks Who Drink is our weekly taproom trivia. Every Wednesday 8-10pm (Harrisonburg taproom only!). Teams are limited to 6 players and will work together to input answers digitally (phone, iPad, laptop, etc.).
- 2 hours of engaging trivia, including audio & video rounds.
- Each round format and theme is designed to maximize player entertainment.
- Rated PG-13 and covering every topic under the sun- trust us.
