Basye\nSaturday\, September 13th\n6PM\nFREE\nall ages\n>>> \nMeisha Herron was born and raised in Chicago and studied guitar at Columbia College. She opened for Buddy Guy in January of 2023\, at his internationally known jazz and blues club\, “Legends”. She now performs primarily in Virginia (but WILL travel). She is perfecting her own style of guitar playing and singing which encompasses her early blues\, soul\, jazz and rock influences while allowing her to incorporate her creative ideas within the songs. \nShe has two singles out\, “Missing” and “When I Heard the News (2024)” on Spotify & Apple Music. Herron’s originals songs are songs about love\, nature\, community and family. She has released a 6 original song EP recorded live in Chicago with acoustic guitar and a drum accompaniment. \nIn 2018\, Meisha visited the Northern Shenandoah Valley regions\, fell in love with the great acoustic music scene and she now performs regularly at wineries\, breweries\, outdoor festivals and local event spaces to venues throughout Virginia. \nFor the last four seasons\, she has been featured as an opening act at the Shenandoah Valley Music Fest at Orkney Springs Virginia for the Four Tops\, Spinners\, Don McLean and Mavis Staples (’24) and the Belle Grove Music festivals (Middletown\, VA) two years in a row. She will also perform at various Town sponsored events in the region.

DESCRIPTION:As breweries\, we understand our role as community hubs. Though time has passed since Hurricane Helene\, many in our brewing community are still rebuilding. We aim to support their recovery so they can continue serving their communities and keep staff employed. We came together with our neighboring breweries to brew a beer for our Western North Carolina friends in need. \nBrewed in collaboration between Pale Fire\, Cave Hill\, Feel The Rain Brothers\, and Restless Moons. \nThanks to the generosity of our suppliers\, we are able to donate funds that would have been used to produce this beer.
