Local Call is a 6-piece Alt rock band from Lynchburg, Virginia. Drawing from a variety of musical backgrounds, they blend their varying musical talents into their own unique sound. The band started off primarily as a cover band but quickly learned the joys of writing and composing their own original music. They released their first full-length studio album, composed of all original songs titled “Some Days” in July, 2024 and released their second studio album titled “Jack” seven months later, in February 2025.

They have played numerous jam-packed and sold-out shows throughout Central Virginia including hometown favorites “The Music Hall” and Lynchburg Academy of the Arts’ “Warehouse Theatre.” While they have shifted more into the realm of original music, they still love rocking to their favorite covers ranging from The Grateful Dead to Tom Petty to ’90s Alt Rock to Current Hits.
