Dog Days of Summer 2025 (Basye)

The Dog Days of Summer are almost here—those hot, hazy days when the only thing better than a cold drink is sharing it with your favorite four-legged friend! 🐶☀️ We’re celebrating on Saturday, July 12th. Here’s what you can look forward to:

🍋 Fresh squeezed lemonades, just like you’ll find at the county fair, but better! For our 21+ crowd, add a refreshing shot of Deep Eddy lemon vodka.
🔥 Brand new Pale Fire bandanas specifically for your furry friends!
🌭 What’s summer without a hot dog?! We’ll be cooking them up in the Backyard.
🍦 Visit our neighbor, Smiley’s, to purchase a human treat or a Pup Cup!
🦴 Thistle Hill Pet Treats will have a table set up to sell limited-ingredient pet treats, as well as pet bandanas and bow ties.
🐾 Bring a bag of dry dog food to donate to our friends at the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter. Visit their table for info & collabsible water bowls.
🐶 Support or learn about Anicira Veterinary Center, a nonprofit veterinary service provider dedicated to ending animal suffering by improving access to veterinary care.
🐕 Support or learn about the Mosby Foundation, organized exclusively for charitable purposes to assist in the care for critically sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs through financial support and public education.
🎾 Backyard activities for both human and furry visitors!
🎶 Live Music: Kick back and enjoy tunes from Tristan Dougherty who will be set up in the Backyard, 6-9pm
